The Chaffey District cares about your mental well-being. We partner with community agencies and mental health professionals to provide support to our students and staff. The San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health provides support to the entire County, including all the schools of the Chaffey District. If you, or someone you know, is in a crisis or has experienced a traumatic event, please contact the Community Crisis Response Team by calling (909) 421-9233 or texting (909) 420-0560 between 7:00 am – 10:00 pm daily. The following resources (in English and Spanish) provide other sources of support.

E High CC (Etiwanda High Community Connection) The E High CC (formally known as EHS Community Council) was organized and established in July 1994 to replace the former PTSA. Parents, together with the principal, felt strongly that Community Council would be not only a more effective method to raise and direct financial resources to meet the school’s needs, but also a better way of meeting more immediate school-parent issues. Each year, the Community Council donates hours of time to the school assisting the offices. These individuals are a wonderful group of people who support the school enthusiastically. What is ELAC?

ELAC is a committee consisting mainly of parents of students whose first language is not English, and of those members of the community who reside or work in the service area of the school.  Other members include teachers and staff from Etiwanda High School.

What is the purpose of ELAC?
ELAC was established for the purpose of allowing committee members to participate in the education of the students whose first language is not English, and to advise the principal and other members of the school regarding programs and services for English Learners.

How do we benefit from ELAC?
In order to receive benefits from ELAC, it is very important for parents of students in the EL program to actively participate, remain informed about school activities, and attend meetings.

Parent involvement will not only support students academically, but it will also help to build self-esteem of our students and encourage students to become successful members of society.

Being a member of ELAC provides parents with the opportunity to become familiar with the academic programs of the school, and allows parents to have a voice in the development of the programs that are offered by the school.

The 24 Hour and Emergency Services Division encompasses an array of department and contracted programs that deliver behavioral health services to individuals requiring immediate access to stabilization after experiencing a crisis and/or transitioning from a higher level of acute care to a safe and supportive community living setting.
